I am looking for a caregiver to come to my house one or two hours every morning to provide assistance to my bed ridden husband with toileting, grooming, dressing. Any idea where I can find such a person? A man would be preferable.

Best would be to ask at your local government hospital and in general to put the word out locally

Take Sheryls advice ask at your local hospital or clinic.

Finding for a male care give would be almost impossible, females are better care givers anyway.

OK so your husband would prefer a male, but he will soon lose his embarrassment if you had a female carer, i did when my wife got a female to help me.

Thanks for your suggestions. Contacted two hospitals allready with negative answers so far.  The reason we prefer a male caregiver is not a matter of embarassment but a matter of strength. My husband cannot move and, although he is very skinny, there are still 50 kilos to lift...
