July 15, 20188 yr Is there any bar in Bangkok where they pour the beer in similar way like this master in the video below? Edited July 15, 20188 yr by user22
July 15, 20188 yr I showed this trick to a barman who sold loads of such beers. He had never seen it he said. But why not show this video to your barkeeper and tell him to the same?
July 16, 20188 yr G's Bangkok, The Embassy of Beers. Silom Soi 4. Huge selection of German brews. Great German food. Very generous portions. http://www.gsbangkok.com/en/ Edited July 16, 20188 yr by rheinwiese
July 16, 20188 yr The best place I've found by far as they have an enormous selection is Wishbeer just inside suk 67. They do food as well. G's on Silom 4 mentioned above is good too but their selection doesn't match Wishbeer, which supplies bars all over Thailand.
July 16, 20188 yr Wishbeers have several locations but the tap beers taste like pinesol cleaners. It's said that you wish for a good beer after you tried a tap beer. Many stores sell some decent beers even American IPA hoppy beers but at 250+ baht I tend to just suffice with Singha 36 baht at stores but not sold 2-5 pm.

But from what you say about Wishbeer tap beers you obviously know very little about the industry. Up to the individual what they prefer, but please don't make ridiculous derogatory statements that have no foundation in truth. You would do well to remember where you are, a country where to say or write anything that could damage a person or business could result in court action and at the very least result in you having to pay compensation. Even if you are right. Which, in my opinion, you are not. Edited July 16, 20188 yr by Bangkok Barry
July 16, 20188 yr This is ridiculous. Who in their right mind would accept having the exterior of the top 8 cm of their bottle immersed in their beer? This is what a crate of Weizen beer bottles looks like: A typical bar might have 10-12 cases in stock, in a back storage area - with dust gathering, various insects crawling around. You would not want to lick the outside of the bottle - so why would you accept having the exterior of the bottle bathed in the beer that you are going to drink?
