I would like to see more use made of services such as the Disclosure and Barring Service in the UK https://www.gov.uk/guidance/teacher-status-checks-information-for-employers which checks background. I am sure the Thai Government could negotiate cheap or free access to this service, on an information exchange basis, and even consider setting up one of their own, data protection notwithstanding.

 

This will also stop these criminals just travelling somewhere else and getting a job without their previous behaviour being tracked and traced.

Did you see the news this morning about the 12 year old girl getting drugged & raped by 18 men during a period of 6 months,they where at court in Delhi & a gang of lawyers started beating them up in the court

Read an article about man arrested in US for same type of behavior.

Sentenced to prison and a week later.......oooops an inmate did him in.

Even bad guys don’t like these people.

I am not being smart here, but I come 5 months a year, so I do not live here but I stay in Pattaya sometimes for a month , but I have never “seen” anything to do with child pornography , and I am assured that adult porn is illegal and you will be denied access on a computer ? i wouldn’t even attempt it, not that I am a prude or. a saint ! I understood that the reputation Thailand had for underage sexual activity had been stamped out to a large degree. Your comment is obviously well informed if you live here, so I  am saddened to read it.

I think there is a big difference regarding sentence/punishment between personal use and commercializing it....

A British teacher left his thumb drive in the computer when he went home; it was full of kiddy porn.  He was actually sacked the next morning, but the school didn't report him to the police.  I heard that about 6 months later, he was arrested and deported; it appears that he was wanted in England on pedo charges.

 

So, it seems that pedophiles are part of the woodwork in Thailand, and something that won't be going away any time soon.

 

When I say that it makes me puke, I really mean that I want to rip their ****in heads off.

So 3 young lads on a balcony each disappearing inside for 20 minutes with a Dutch guy and you blame the Thais in the pool for not batting an eyelid. Yet  you witnessed it all for over an hour.

The Belgium and the English teachers you caught red handed yet blame the school for not reporting them? Then you say you want to rip their ****in heads off! Why didn’t  you rip their heads off or at least report them to the police at the time.

It seems that in responding to the "sting message" he specified asking if they had any boys 12 years of age. Seems he is very specific about his interests. Send him to a Thai Prison where the Prisoners specify only Pedos working 12 year olds. Yuck. I hope no parents replied to the sting.

He can share the kids images in the Bangkok Hilton, and see what happens!

Did the Language school check if this person was on the UK Sex offenders registry before employing him ?   That sort of behaviour is often a life long obsession.

It's not in your face 24/7.  If it is, then you are hanging out in the wrong places.  Britain has serious problems with pedos.  At least here, their media doesn't hide it.
