Hello All,

I've got a question about the re-entry permit office at Don Muang. I've read reports on here mentioning that you require to have a passport photo with you.

I've done the re-entry permit before at Suvarnabhumi where they take the picture for you for 200 baht extra.

My question is do they use this system as well at Don Muang? Will I be able to just turn up to the office and have them print the TM8 and take the picture there as it is at Suvarnabhumi?

Thanks for the help!

Unless the situation at Don Muang has changed, you need a photo. Given how easy it is to have one with you (I actually keep a few in my wallet) I do not even rely on the photo machine being available at Savannakhet. There was a period in 2016 where the machine was not usable for months.
