Would you guys pls share your experience or maybe give  a sort of advice on the following...

Suppose you have to leave your  apartment in BKK condo for several  days, going to Pattaya or Chiang Mai or wherever else like Singapore. What the optimal way of dealing with your lovely cat would be so that your pet got stressed as less as possible?

Like you know, maybe there are any pet hotels/clubs in BKK, taking care of cats (in my case)..Or maybe there are any other solutions that work best?

There are plenty of Cat hotels scattered across Bangkok that usually start at around 200 ฿/night depending on the room type.

I cannot recommend one myself as I have yet to use one but am looking for recommendations too.

I believe that your cat will be less stressed staying in it's home environment, as long as you provide the key ingredients for survival and reasonable comfort. 1 - water,  2 - food,  3 - poop and pee box.   Unless of course your pal needs special attention, meds or vet care.

We have two cats, brother and sister and best friends, so that takes away the total loneliness factor.

What I do is put out a big big flat bowl or pan of water so it cannot possibly run out or get tipped over.

A big bowl or pan of dry food, enough to last for the days you are gone, and then a little more for back up.

Kitty litter box with a deep layer of Catsan: Extra Odor Control.

Have someone check on him/her and the food and water supply if possible. And a backup plan in case you can't come home as soon as you expect.

Got it! Thank you very much, i really appreciate it:)

You didn't get much discussion yet, I was hoping your would get a solid suggestion for a good boarding facility. Our situation is different than yours, a four bedroom townhouse not a condo, and our daughter can stop by and look in on them.  Frankly I'm scared of leaving our pets with boarding staff because of a bad experience with our late cat. She was mishandled by a poorly trained young vet staff and became permanently disabled, lost the use a rear leg.  I'm also concerned about possible exposure to contagious disease.

Mine was just my opinion and knowing our own cats and their unique natures. Our female is anything goes, friendly and adaptive to people and changes. The male gets all freaked out with the unfamiliar; he bolts and doesn't come home for a day if we even have guests over. I know he is less stressed staying at home even if it's not ideal. We don't go away often, but they have handled it pretty well when we did.  Scratch pads keep them from tearing up the furniture,  but they do run around and knock over things and shred rolls of tissue for kicks.

My point, in fact, was to figure out the best solution as long as you stay in condo in BKK. Many condos have sort of what they call it "Administration Office", providing a variety of services, majorly focused on maintenance , of course. At least that`s what they do in "Lumpini Place" condos, spread all over BKK.
