Look for Da
Hi all, Im here looking for some advice. on Valentine’s Day 1991, I married a lovely Thai lady who I met when she was working at “Videochoice” a marriage introducing agency. very sadly, because of a sure refusal of a visa to enter the UK we were divorced in September of the same year! Now my problem is that I have lost all paper work including translations and I can’t remember the ladies surname. I have been told that without this they will not look for copies for me! Is this true? I still have my passport I used for that time and I’m wondering if maybe the British Embassy would have a record of my visit there with her name as well. will they keep records from 28 years ago, would anyone on here know? Any information no matter how small will be welcomed. Thank you Bruno
Get Real
This looks to me like it would be far too many years back in time for Thailand to have records, but of course everything is possible in paper form. If you registered the marriage with your embassy, they should surely have records of that. Just for applying for a visa and get denied, I don´t know, but it seems far fetched they should keep records of that so long.
