HARARE (Reuters) - Zimbabwe's ruling ZANU-PF party has won the majority seats in parliament, results from the electoral commission showed on Wednesday, a day after the opposition accused the agency of deliberately delaying results in ZANU-PF's favour.

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission results showed President Emmerson Mnangagwa's ZANU-PF cruising to a big majority after picking up 109 seats against 41 for the opposition Movement for Democratic Change. Another 58 seats are yet to be declared.

There are some interesting parallels here between Zims and Thailand, but their coup regime only lasted 8 months after they deposed the tyrant Mugabe and the coup maker is now president. It's a shame Nelson Chamisa didn't get a chance , a bright young 40 year old man versus a 75 year old crocodile.

Nelson Chamisa is a populist, making all sorts of ridiculous promises such as high speed railways, and that Trump would give Zimbabwe 15 billion dollars if he wins. What Zimbabwe needs is stability, not fantasy.
