I just don't get him or others that think animals deserve a higher priority than humans. It's like they're all on acid watching reruns of Rin Tin Tin What about the kids & elderly? He shows compassion for one (out of thousands) stranded dog surrounded by heavy, fast moving traffic & now he's supposed to rescue the millions of slum dwellers? How? How many TV posters keep whining about how lazy & incompetent Thais are? Whats the government going to do? Give them a handout? That'll certainly raise the roof on this cynical opinionated site now won't it. What about the US $30 Billion entitled family? What are they doing to help the less fortunate? What are they doing to help anybody at all? Free health care, education, affordable housing? Not likely. So one scared, abandoned pup gets rescued. Enjoy the show of compassion. Go after the fricken irresponsible owners who are abandoning their pets & let them take in the slum dwellers.
