watcharacters
Yep. it's not everyday but probably once a week or fortnight or so. From several floors up I can hear the honking of a car burglar alarm for around 10 - 14 seconds duration. It usually only lasts for a few hours a sesion but that's enough for me. I call it perfect in the sense that no one really benefits from it at all. At least noise from a party or a bar is giving some people pleasure of some sort. This alarm probably at any one time doesn't annoy more than 50 or 60 people. I've never even bothered to find out which car it is as I figure there's nothing that can be done to stop it anyway. I think if I were a Thai person I'd be more actively looking for a solution however. The owner much know what his car is guilty of doing. Does he care? Phuket Man
Most Thais could not give a toss about noise. In fact they seem to like it. So don't expect any help from anyone including the car owner. 1
