I had submitted online application for Non B visa at Singapore but currently I’m outside of SG. The status must show as submit original document then I’ll be required to be in SG Thai embassy.

my question is: how long will it take to review the online application? I’ll like to time my travel properly.

btw I submitted the following documents

1) passport copy

2) application form

3) WP3

4) Invitation letter

5) Company registration

6) company financial report

usually are these documents enough?

It states this on their website. http://www.thaiembassy.sg/visa-matters-consular

  • After the online application is completed, the applicant will be able to check his or her application status.
  • Once the status indicated “Reviewed”, the applicants will need to bring the completed and duly signed physical copy of the visa application form together with his or her passport, to be submitted at the Royal Thai Embassy.
  • Most applicants require to present 1 Visa Application Form and 1 photograph, except nationalities of certain countries (Detail: http://www.thaiembassy.sg/visa-matters-/-consular/instructions-for-visa-application).
  • The applicant is also requested to submit the application in person.
  • Once the applicant submits all required documents along with the visa payment, the visa can be obtained in the afternoon of the next business day (from 14.00 -15.00 hrs).

I don't think takes very long for them to review the application. I would guess it would be done on Tuesday since Monday is a holiday.

Check the list of required documents here. http://www.thaiembassy.sg/visa-matters-/-consular/visa-requirements/non-immigrant-visa-b

You appear to have everything but this one. Plus some not listed.

Update: Singapore embassy didn't ask for more document but instead show status late yesterday afternoon as submit original document by 15-16th morning before 11:30am.

I'm still outside Singapore now and I'm trying to find out if I could submit on next monday instead. The embassy doesn't answer any call until 2-5pm. I'm stuck with the decision whether should I fly out this evening or wait till 2pm and call them again. If the answer is NO, I might be too late to catch the next flight out.

Hello forumers,

I have a new question. I just got my temporary Non B which is valid for 3 months. What I understand is that I must complete my work permit and visa within this period of time.

I noticed that my temporary Non B stated single entry. My question is, what if I need to leave Thailand end next month for a few days and my Visa/work permit is incomplete? Is there a place I can go to apply for a re-entry kind of things so I don't have to go thru the whole Singapore Thai embassy submission process?

The visas expiration date is only the last day you can use it to enter the country. You will get a 90 day permit to stay when you enter the country. Prior to that date is when you when you will need a work permit to apply for an extension of stay at immigration.

You can get a single re-entry permit for a fee of 1000 baht to keep the remainder of the 90 day entry valid when you enter the country.

Thanks ubonjoe!

I already entered Thailand yesterday and have a valid 90 days to stay. So now my first step is to get a work permit right? I was quoted 45k for this mind messing episode. Should I utilize my own staff to do it or it's advisable to just pay the 45k and let the agent do it? My admin staff already successfully get the document done up for me to do the Singapore Thai embassy online submission. Will doing work permit and extension of stay much more difficult step?

Can you advise also how to go about getting the re-entry permit for 1000 baht? Airport? Local Immigration center?

Not that much more difficult. They should check with the local work permit office as to what will be required.

General requirements for the extension application is here. https://www.immigration.go.th/content/service_1

You can apply for it at the local immigration office or at either airport in Bangkok on departure from the country 24 hours a day.
