Bangkok Bank has a branch in New York City but it isn't a bank you can walk into and do business. It is there strictly for business use and not individual customers. I am not sure if they could help you with your issue. Try contacting them to find out.

In America, it is much cheaper to wire money to Bangkok Bank in NYC and have them forward it to your branch, than to send it directly to a Bangkok Bank in Thailand.
