security code on back of creditcard

Recommended Posts

Read an interesting topic a while ago on this subject.

Anywhere you hand your credit card like gas stations, restaurants/bars, Centrals etc and where

they are not in plain sight they could copy the security code and you could have some issues with theft/charges

I don't understand why such an important code is not treated same like the PIN code

Someone proposed to scratch the code of as it has no use other than internet purchases and you could remember it like your pin..

Any thoughts??
