geovalin Posted August 20, 2018 Share Posted August 20, 2018 King Norodom Sihamoni on Friday appointed Hun Sen as prime minister with the duty of organising a government for approval by the National Assembly. On his re-appointment, Mr Hun Sen pledged to do his best to serve the whole nation for another five-year term after his Cambodian People’s Party won a sweeping victory in the general election. He must form a cabinet for the sixth mandate to seek a vote of confidence from the National Assembly at its opening session on September 5. The new government will be formed on September 6 and the first Council of Ministers will meet the next day.
