Phuket beachgoers warned as surf danger continues

The warning comes as the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) yesterday issued a surf warning for the entire Andaman coast. Image DDPM

 

PHUKET: The International Surf Lifesaving Association (ISLA) has issued warning of continuing dangerous surf conditions at beaches along Phuket’s west coast.

 

The warning was posted on the International Surf Lifesaving Association (ISLA) South East Asia Facebook page.

The warning comes as the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) yesterday issued a surf warning for the entire Andaman coast, including Phuket, Phang, Nga, Krabi, Trang and Satun, for Aug 23-27.

It is still the stormy rainy season, so listen up all yous tourists, be warned, it

is not peaceful Thailand of the high calmer season.  Do try to be cautious.

So... when stepping out on a road, it’s normal to look left, right and left again..... but when entering the water... what? Nobody looks at the weather.

for the nailed gods sake.... wake up people!
