Bangkok Bank website has crashed!

Featured Replies

Has anyone else experienced problems in trying to access this website today?

Yes, although the online services appear to be OK.

I noticed they changed content on their main https://www.bangkokbank.com site over the weekend because I monitor the RSS Feed for exchange rates and RSS Feeds have disappeared.

I think tyhe are / were doing some maintenance...

So how can you access these services, then, if not through their website?!!

You can access to ibanking via https://ibanking.bangkokbank.com/SignOn.aspx,  but http://www.bangkokbank.com/ seems to have a problem presently.

Because it is through a different sub-domain.

They did issue a notice about maintenance  of their website.

They had "maintenance" on Friday night/Saturday morning.

Somebodies head is going to roll for this.....

The new look website was online yesterday when I logged on. Looked very different and quite an improvement.

As of now/10:30am it takes over a minute for the Bankgok Bank public website to initially appear....and I'm on a 200Mb speed plan here in Bangkok.   But even after the page initially appears clicking on any link pretty much results in a long wait for anything to happen.  And in my browser tab I have a the little wheel going around and around which means it still trying to download  webpage info.  Yeap, something it wrong with their new public webpage.  Heck, even their old was slow on many of their subpages.

However, I can logon my Bangkok Bank ibanking no problem/in just a few seconds as that uses a different webpage address.

Could you provide a link to this sub-domain, please?

As per my response to NotEinstein, could you provide a link to this address, please?

Thanks - and apologies for having overlooked post #5 in this regard! Have now bookmarked this link in my Chrome browser for future reference.

The main site now seems to be back on at full speed. More than just routine maintenance but a complete revamp by the look of things. One thing I don't like about the new site, though, is that it now appears necessary to drill down a bit for the latest BKKB foreign exchange rates when compared to the previous version. So I've also bookmarked these in my Chrome browser:-

did an online transfer about 13:00 today, no problem.

There new "public" website is now pulling up fast as of 2:20pm....and definitely a complete redesign.   However, when clicking on sublinks on the main page I just get the never ending circle as the subpage tries to pull up.

Edit..update....after trying the main page a few more times its now pulling up super slow again.  Yea, me thinks their new public website has problems.

But their ibanking logon/webpage it still same-same...zips right along....no problems.

I used to read (Thai language) their monthly investment outlook reports, but can't find them on the new website.
