asanee
There used to be a stand selling 'rejects' from various airlines in TescoLotus superstores, usually staying a week or 2 in one and then move on to another. If there is anyone having spotted it recently, could you please tell which TescoLotus it was? Or if anyone has seen a similar stand/shop somewhere (not too far out from central BKK) also grateful for directions. khrap
flightcrew1
Not rejects but stolen items. This is why we never have enough blankets or amenities onboard as they are stolen before take off! We always do a count on flights out of BKK as 100 means 85! But to answer your question there is a stand right now in United Center Building in the lobby. This is the building with Deli France outside. Lot's of memrobilia from JAL i.e. cutlery, booze, blankets and amenitie kits from business and first for sale which is ironic since JAL has their crew training center on several floors in this building! Go figure!
bulmercke
The Jusco supermarket in Thung Khru Bangkok had a whole load of airline stuff ( inflight souvenirs, cutlery, plastic food dishes etc ) for sale at it's store recently.

Happen to roughly know where it is, that helps a bit. And it may be ''stolen'' or it may simply old objects obsolete as the airline again changed its 'homestyle''. leisurely
I wondered about those when I first saw them. My daughters loved playing with their Thai air blow up planes. It all makes more sense now. I didn't realise they could be liberated goods though!
asanee
some more on this: it comes in 2 varieties: 1.legal, not the real stuff you get when served in airplanes; THAI has a shop now selling this (USers call it merchandise, I think), name nranded, in their office at Lan Luang, and probably also else, but Ive never seen it at old or new airport. Thsimay be of help to above. also the site thaicabincrew.com offers it - mainly in thai, but worth a look! 2.the ''stolen '' stuff, which you can find anywhere Thai sell 2nd hand stuff, at potluck. Most seems to come however from cleaners at airport. also many shops selling an amazing variety of foreign newspapers etc. get it from there.
