BANGKOK, 3 September 2018 (NNT) – The Department of Local Administration (DLA) is confident politicians won't use temples and monasteries as venues for election campaigns.

Following the Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand’s announcement that all political activities are prohibited in religious premises, Suttipong Juljarern, director-general of the Interior Ministry's Department of Local Administration, expressed his confidence that local leaders and politicians will respect the rule by holding their election campaigns outside monasteries.

Suttipong says he doesn’t know whether the general election or local elections will come first, given that the matter will be decided by the government and the Election Commission (EC).

He went on to say that the DLA is fully equipped and ready to assist in the organization of municipal elections.

:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

Or just invent another one to suit themselves.

Well of course they won't,  just like they won't use them anymore as polling stations.
