September 3, 20187 yr I'll be off for a quick fly out/fly in to satisfy my multi non-O, like last time I was going to do a same day turn around via KL. Added complication this time is my daughter (20 yo) is visiting, she has a stamp on arrival, already extended and wants to do the same again. She does have another tourist visa and arrival stamp within the last 12 months. As her stamp expires the same day as my hop is required can she also do a same day turn around for a new stamp on arrival or will this be questioned. If dodgy, would an overnight stay change this? TIA BTW phuket airport. Edited September 3, 20187 yr by klongpong
September 3, 20187 yr No problem for her to fly out and back to get a 30 day visa exempt entry with her history.

She should be ok doing a same day turn around, however, she may get questioned about why she’s extending her stay as a tourist. I doubt, given her history, she is likely to be questioned or given a hard time if she is. Staying out one night isn’t going to make a difference. If she plans to stay beyond the expiry of her next stay I’d recommend she gets an actual Tourist Visa and doesn’t enter again using visa exempt.
September 3, 20187 yr Author Great, thanks guys. Maybe some shopping at the Klia2 mall to kill the time.
September 3, 20187 yr Be sure she has 10K Baht (20K Baht is better) worth of cash or travelers checks. This could help, if she is questioned, because not having it is a published reason for denial of entry. Accommodation to go to an ATM is never permitted, in this situation.
