Watch out for this thief with bogus questionnaire - he'll pinch your phone

 

 

A Thai woman went on Facebook with CCTV images to warn the public after a thief tricked her younger sister and stole her phone.

 

Posters said that this was not the first time and the man remains at large.

 

The man approached "Naen" at Fashion Island in Rangsit north of Bangkok under the guise of giving her a questionnaire.

 

She was conned into showing the man her ID and the pictures on her phone.

 

When her attention was distracted - it looked like the man was going to get her a drink - he managed to make off with her phone.

 

It was several minutes before she realized what had happened.

 

Posters on the page of Nuiaoub Atthawit said that this thief had done this before and was still preying on victims.
