Truck carrying 140 LPG tanks exploded

A six-wheel truck loading 140 Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tanks had an accident this afternoon and caused a conflagration at the route between Bang Kradan and Sang Tung in Trat province.

According to the truck driver whose name is undisclosed, the engine initially caught fire and he jumped out of the vehicle to escape the fire and called for help. Firefighters are now trying to contain the flames while explosions are going off sporadically.
