WISE transfer times getting longer - why?
It would help to know the amounts involved. I know that I've never had problems with amounts under around 10k baht, but as soon as I went over it got delayed. After I cancelled the transaction and did another one for a lesser amount it went through in seconds. That has happened to me multiple times so I always limit it to 9k now. -

Rachel Robert’s "Sporting Life": Barking like a Welsh Corgi
And, WHAT does THIS comment of yours have to do with Rachel Roberts? Or, is this question unimportant to you? I thought you attended one of the best schools in Canada....such as.... a. University of Toronto b. McGill Did you not? If you did, then what happened to you, since then? -

Big C now cheaper than expat shops
Fair enough. However, there is a declared interest. Please refer to the The Central Group website. The companies are grouped under the section that includes Big C and Tops, along with their variations under "Partners". U.S. Pursues State Capitalism With American Characteristics
President Trump is imitating Chinese Communist Party by extending political control ever deeper into economy A generation ago conventional wisdom held that as China liberalized, its economy would come to resemble America’s. Instead, capitalism in America is starting to look like China. Recent examples include President Trump’s demand that Intel’s chief executive resign; the 15% of certain chip sales to China that Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices will share with Washington; the “golden share” Washington will get in U.S. Steel as a condition of Nippon Steel’s takeover; and the $1.5 trillion of promised investment from trading partners Trump plans to personally direct. This isn’t socialism, in which the state owns the means of production. It is more like state capitalism, a hybrid between socialism and capitalism in which the state guides the decisions of nominally private enterprises. https://www.wsj.com/economy/the-u-s-marches-toward-state-capitalism-with-american-characteristics-f75cafa8?mod=hp_lead_pos8 I'm all for the tariffs imposed by President Trump. But this approach threatens to undermine free enterprise in America.
