LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight pleaded no contest in a Los Angeles court on Thursday to a charge of manslaughter for a 2015 hit-and-run killing, accepting a 28-year prison sentence under a deal with prosecutors days before his murder trial was to begin.

Thai woman,21, claims Iranian ex handcuffed, shaved and raped her in Jomtien condo

A 21 year old Thai woman went to Pattaya police yesterday to say that she was handcuffed and had her mouth covered in duct tape. Then she had her head shaved and was raped by her Iranian ex husband.

Vietnam's President Quang dies after illness

HANOI (Reuters) - Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang, one of the country's top three leaders but with mostly ceremonial duties, died on Friday after an illness, state television and radio announced.

Koh Tao and its mountain of garbage awaiting disposal

UPDATE:

 

Hundreds of passengers left stranded after train derails in Lampang

The rail traffic in the North was suspended this morning as the operation to salvage a petroleum-transporting train derailing Thursday night in Lampang was still underway after 12 hours of attempting to remove the derailed train.

Brit tourist and Myanmar girlfriend injured as bike does "somersault" on Pattaya hill

Witnesses said they saw a foreign tourist and his girlfriend do a somersault after they failed to negotiate a bend on Pratumnak Hill, Pattaya in the early hours of the morning.
