video blogging/vlogging

Featured Replies

I have noticed more and more expats  doing regular  U Tube  video blogs about their  life in Thailand ,and most have paypal accounts for donations or Patreon     for regular donating subscribers  to their channel

I was thinking about doing this myself  ,but it seems that  as they receive  money in form of donation or subscription   this is paid work

So would I need a work permit   or is this a grey area    Advice  welcome

No grey area. Based on the law you need permission (work permit) to work as a blogger/vlogger, which you won’t get.

Most people doing what you’re planning; do so under the radar. The authorities are unlikely to come looking for you, or prosecute you if they find out what you’re doing.
