Orton Rd Posted October 13, 2018 Share Posted October 13, 2018 Anyone know of any treatment for warts from pharmacy's in Bangkok? Lots of small itchy ones around the neck. Mrs went to get something, but came back with anti histamines, antibiotics and saline solution. Oxx Posted October 14, 2018 Share Posted October 14, 2018 Products such a verrumal are basically acids which burn the wart away. They work very slowly (weeks), and are often unsuccessful. A quicker fix would be freezing them with liquid nitrogen. The skin clinic at any hospital should be able to do this (as can some beauty clinics). This would probably only take 1 or 2 sessions a fortnight apart. Given the location, the warts probably could also be removed by laser which is faster still. Of course, there is the possibility that these aren't warts, but something else. Best to see a dermatologist to get a definitive diagnosis.
