BLOOD TEST LAB?

Featured Replies

hi guys

does anybody know in banglamung or sriracha or nearby (or anywhere in chonburi province, seen the peculiarity of pattaya) of a laboratory where to have blood test?

(just to avoid local hospitals inflated costs procedures. and to have some unbiased results)

thnx

It depends what you are testing for? a simple basic blood panel or , a specific element like testosterone or Estrogen or other hormones, std's and so on . Whats it testing for ?

These blood test labs are everywhere even in the smallest town. A simple inquiry with a local doctor or clinic will point you in the right direction.

Lifecare lab Pattaya 3rd road is the best and cheapest, package 4 which is 700 baht is a good all round package. See googlemaps

thnx.

i spotted it on maps.

in january i had full check up (not in thailand) and blood tests were almost ok, minor hiccups.

for the past 6 years i have toggled between chiangmai (i know where to go for everything healthcare) and pattaya (everything pricey, and i have always been told to use either sri racha district hospital or queen sirikit in bangchang).

2 weeks ago i saw urologist at sriracha, he charged me 2 consultation fees, 1.000 (i asked why and he replied "you can afford it").

so yesterday i saw him again to have the results of blood test.

initially he even refused to give me a printout. anyway most markups were off. particularly the PSA was 6 (i always have had it around 1.5).

he wanted me to have prostate MRI at 15.000.

i objected and eventually i got the blood tests printout and an appointment for december.

moreover he booked me for this monday to meet an internal medicine specialist.

before monday i would want to check PSA, just to gain an idea if sriracha results could be plausible or not.

thnx for your lab tip
