wgdanson
Just heard on BBC and read on news site that pharmacies in England will have to verify that the person claiming free prescriptions will have to prove their eligibility BEFORE the pharmacist hands over the meds and not AFTER as is the procedure now. But pharmacists have opposed plans (for the patient to have some sort of ID/exemption certificate) saying they 'harm patient trust'. How would that work if in a bank they give you the money, and then ask for your debit card! Edited October 14, 2018 by wgdanson
