SETV Extension

What is the procedure to extend a 60 day SETV (obtained in the UK) to 90 days ?. At what point during the 60 days can this be done ?, and also what form/documents would be required ?

You would apply for the 30 day extension of the 60 day entry from your visa at a immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.

You will need a completed TM7 form with a 4 X 6 cm photo attached. Copies of your passport photo page, visa, entry stamp and TM6 departure card.

Most immigration offices will accept the application during the last 2 week of the 60 day entry.

 Good reply from Ubonjoe but please note "I do not think you can apply for an extension during your first 30 days of your stay".

Rayong immigration at Maptaphut will accept an application after the first 30 days of your visit but must be made before your 60 days are up.

As I understand you can extend the 60 days you are given same day as you go through immigration at airport... In other words.. Whenever you want. This is in Phuket though. And if it still is this way I can not attest too.

I seriously doubt that ... in Phuket or elsewhere.

Suradit69... You might be very correct. I haven`t tried it myself.. Only like 7 days before a couple of times.. 

 

Will check though next time im up at immi.

No ‘proof of address’ required?

It depends upon the office where the application is done.

If asked at most offices a receipt for a hotel will be accepted.

Thanks. My understanding was that Jomtien routinely asked for it - meaning even copy of housebook/owner ID for people renting condos. I’ve never had a rental agreement for a short-term (under 3 months) condo stay.
