October 15, 20187 yr Have an Android box, AIS Fibre router but no TV in Bangkok condo. Is it possible to connect to a MacBook Air? Previously I had the Android box connected to a TV via an HDMI cable.
October 15, 20187 yr If both your Android Box and your Laptop are connected to your router via CAT cables, can you not see the And Box on your Lappy? Or if the And. box has USB???? Dunno, just trying suggestions. Or you could go out and buy a telly. !!!!
October 15, 20187 yr Author Thanks, I will give it a try. I will go to the mall today and try and get a cable/adapter to connect the MacBook Air to the android box.
October 16, 20187 yr Why would one want to connect an Android device to a computer just to see stuff on a screen? Simply play the media on the computer and leave the Android turned off?
October 16, 20187 yr You cant use your mac as a TV screen but you can share/stream files from one device to the other. But the droid box would need to be already set up, on the same network, DLNA server etc.

October 21, 20187 yr a cheap tv would be the easy route to take, or a duel boot of android on your mac laptop - https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac/how-run-android-apps-on-mac-3663058/
