Video: Man in custody after "citizens' arrest" following attack in store toilets

A Thai man has been charged after he attacked another man in the toilets of a well known Bangkapi store.

 

Nattakarn was hit over the head ten times with a club, reported TNA MCOT. 

 

Following the attack he alerted a member of the public and a security guard who gave chase and apprehended Chuchart Kaewsriram. 

 

The victim of the attack was taken to hospital. 

 

Chuchart is now in custody and has been charged with assault and robbery.

Can foreigners make citizens arrests? Ive stopped several crimes happening but never bothered police about things because they couldnt deal with a loss of face for being unable to do real crime fighting.
