Immigration police led by Maj-Gen Surachate Hakpan announced the arrest of a South Korean criminal fraudster wanted on four warrants in his home country.

Jin Weon Seo, 60, had entered Thailand illegally across a "natural border", reported the Immigration Bureau website.

He is wanted for fraud in South Korea totaling 132 million won (4.5 million baht).

Maj-Gen Surachate said that Jin did not give up his cons while in Thailand. He said that Jin had perpetrated a string of frauds related to the buying and selling of hotels and golf courses in Bangkok, Chonburi and Phuket.

He was arrested at the Rider Resort in Sri Nakharin Soi 49 in Prawet district on Wednesday.

The report on the IB website described the suspect as a real danger to Thailand.

How many of these foreign villains are operating with the assistance of Thai villains? Many I would think.

"He is wanted for fraud in South Korea totaling 132 million won (4.5 million baht)."
He must be only a very small danger to Thailand,as that's only chicken feed, compaired

to what local scammers are doing.

regards worgeordie

But why does he need three other gormless looking twits to show the Media one piece of paper ?    It's time Big Joke made better and more efficient use of his Human Resources, we may then have a better chance of receiving better service at Immigration Offices !

Cannot be a very serious criminal, no big plastic poster on the wall  behind him with Big Joke striking a heroic pose and no one pointing so where do I look

How about the local fraudsters wanted in Thailand who have NOT fled abroad?

Most of the time, no one seems particularly interested in hunting them down, more often, waiting for them to turn themselves in.

Ah, that’s why he was arrested.
