Bombardier is a Canadian conglomerate and will provide the train to the Thais who are its customers here.

So maybe the Thais didn't understand what they were buying, signing for a regular two rail train while believing that they would get a monorail.

Anyway, the train, whether monorail or not wil be Canadian made and operated by Thais...

And so what?  you are a typical pessimist who thinks all Thais are stupid, don’t underestimate everyone...

what is your nationality?

do you say the glass is half-empty or half-full??

Thailand is the land of delays we all know that, the people on top like to talk, but get very little done, but that’s a government problem.

So who votes in the government, you, Mickey Mouse or the Thai people themselves ?  The current government is only there because the Thai people are insufficiently educated to understand or else they do not have adequate strength of purpose to cast the current system into the middle age garbage bin where it belongs.

No civilised country has got where it is today by sitting on their backsides and believing that reciting mumbo jumbo will cure their problems.  Guts, determination, leadership and hard work has always been required. I don't see many of those 4 factors gelling together currently in the nation as a whole.

So in summary you get the government you deserve.  It you don't like  it then look in the mirror, because that person you see is the one at fault.

Doesn't really matter. What matters is the size of the envelopes from the contractor.
