Hi all.

Just a quick query about how to complete one section of the Visa Application Form used in Savannakhet to get the Non O Visa due to Marriage.

This will be my 2nd application for a Non O and I am currently on the last entry (I know I can get an extension at local immigration but the timing now is good for a trip to Savannakhet) of my current Non O.

My query is re section 4:

  • Date of arrival in Thailand
  • Date of a previous visit to Thailand

Should I put the date of arrival as the last border hop I did or should I be putting the last time I flew in to the country before I obtained a visa?

I'm sure it's probably not that important but it would put my mind at rest to know what is correct.

If anyone has an example of a 2nd visa application form I'm sure it would help not just myself but others in the future as well.

Kind regards

Hi AC,

sounds obvious to me:

Date of arrival in Thailand is date of the planned entry into the country. It would be a future date not starting before the date of the visa application.

Date of a previous visit to Thailand would be the entry date of my last visit to Thailand.

At least these are the dates I use in my applications.
