Jasper4one
Hi I just heard that the U.S. Embassy will stop offering the income letters 1st Jan. 2019. My retirement extension is due in Mid Jan. 2019 and I was there yesterday for my 90 check in and asked them any changes to renew retirement and they told me same as last year. I use the income method and I confirmed twice. This was in Mae Sot so I am going to the Outreach in Udon in November can I still get the Income letter from them??? Thanks in advance for your replies. wgdanson
You can get letters, UK or USA, up to 1st Jan which will be valid for 6 months. So up to July as the Immigration man told you, there are NO changes, and as far as they are concerned, NO CHANGES after that. It's just that YOU, and us Brits will not be able to get the required letter. Edited October 26, 2018 by wgdanson
