No problem when you leave the country. Just fill out a new one before leaving the country. People lose them all the time.

Normally the airline check in counters have some.

Departed Swampy on Thursday. I ‘d lost my departure card, no problem, the nice immigration lady, handed me a new card to fill in.

I lost, rather misplaced my departure card recently, the customs officer just gave me another to fill out. The stamp of all of your arrivals and departures are in your passport anyway. No biggie.

Lost mine last year.. not a problem at all.

Losing your departure card is not an issue when leaving the country, but can be if you need to visit Immigration and need it for Extensions etc.

Hence, ALWAYS HAVE A COPY ON YOUR PHONE. Of everything. But don't lose your phone !!   How easy/difficult is it to lose a piece of paper which is stapled into your passport? And surely Immigration will identify you by your passport details which are stored on their computer, not by a randomly numbered arrival card.

Putting it on a cloud is better. It would be unlikely that would ever be lost. I have everything saved on Google drive. I can open everything on it with my phone as long as I have a connection to the internet.
