Inquiry by TVF to Thai-Immigration

Featured Replies

I could imagine that soon, TVF-Forum will send an inquiry to Thai Immigration with the following text:

"Sirs,
we are the most widely read Thai Internet-Forum by foreighners. Our readers are left in counfusion as the income verification by Embassies is no more possible. Instead of Embassy Verifications, could Bank-Statements (proving regular income from overseas) satisfy your need to verify the financial capabilities of foreighners? Or other acceptable venues for foreighners, serving the same purpose?
We trust, that you understand, that the latest changes is causing an undue amount of insecurity and uncertainity among a large number of foreighners residing in Thailand.
On behalf of thousands of foreighn residents, we look foreward to your response, enabeling thousands of foreighners to reliably plan their future in Thailand.

Would suggest to send this inquiry to Immigration at Chaeng Wattana, as this office serves as something like the "Immigration Trend-Setter". Or directly to "Big Joke", of course.
Regrettably, affected "Western Embassies" seem not too keen to extract binding new guidelines from Thai-Immigration concerning alternatives when it comes to "monthly income verification".

TVF to the rescue, as a last resort?
Cheers.

Nonsensical topic.
