He was very emphatic that those places were "s***holes" in the first place. He said he couldn't understand what the fuss was all about as the only ones he ever sees are the Bangladeshis at his local "Indian" and that they keep to themselves, work very hard and are very polite. I have to confess that when I return to my part of the "old country" I hardly see any at all. I don't really know where the "s***holes" always were (and remain) because where I was born and brought up was (and remains) very nice......I suppose it must be one of those "regional" things. This is an example of the disconnect between the people and their political "representatives". These days politicians are mainly middle class professional who live in leafy enclaves far away from the "sh-tholes" where the working masses have to compete for homes, job and services with increasing numbers of migrants with whom they have little or nothing, culturally or ideologically, in common. It is easy to dismiss anti-immigrant sentiment as racist and kid yourself everything in the garden is lovely when one is looking down, metaphorically speaking, from an ivory tower surrounded by pink clouds. The proof is the Brexit referendum result, which came as an incredible shock British Establishment. But instead of implementing the will of the people, our Parliamentarians are doing everything they can to keep us under the control of Brussels. It hardly matters any more whether a Tory or Labour government is in Westminster. Their stance on major issues is almost identical, with immigration being a salutory example. Political survival has become more important to our career politicians than the survival of our national culture and identity and the more migrant votes they can attract the longer they can cling on to their power and perks. By 2050, according to Pew Research, the number of Muslim immigrants alone could double or triple to over 17 percent of the population. It is the same scary picture across Europe, now being rocked by a so-called "right wing" backlash. Increasingly, criticism of Islam is being prohibited as "hate speech" (while imams go on preaching their anti-west vitriol in mosques and madrassas across the country with impunity). Only last week we had the egregious ECHR decision to uphold the conviction of an Austian woman accused of blasphemy, simply for stating a fact about Prophet. The outlook, unfortunately, is anything but sunny. Edited November 8, 2018 by Krataiboy

Many Christians want to flee Pakistan, but this is not the answer, it will never solve the fundamental problems that blight their society. Their thoughts and values will never be compatible with modern life whilst they keep one foot in the 6th century. I agreed with you until you said one foot in the 6th century , i fear both feet are planted firmly there and will not ever leave

I just hope she gets out of her awful country before the mob catch up with her. Her lawyer has received a 3-month temporary asylum and is now in the Netherlands. She will follow.
