Non Immigrant B Visa

Featured Replies

I had my Non Immigrant B Visa approved and stamped in my passport mid December 06, but I have heard that its validity begins the day its issued, do you know if this is true? Or does it begin on my first entry into Thailand (17th Feb 07). I'm just a bit concerned as to when I should need to do a visa run.

Thanks for your help

I assume it is a multiple non-imm B. This visa is valid for 1 year from date of issue mid December)

When you arrive on Febr. 17 you will get a stamp, permitted to stay for 90 days. Febr. 17 counts as 1st day.

As long as your visa is valid you can leave and return and will receive at each entry anothr 90 days-permit to stay.

Yeah, sorry its multiple entry. Well thanks to the Thai Consulate for letting me know its valid from date of issue, now I've lost 2 months!

Thanks a lot for the help Axel, I appreciate it.
