The thing i find really sad is the story would suggest it is still possible and seemingly easy to procure a 14 year old child for sex for 500 baht on a popular tourist beach here, very sad.

Ok I'm not condoning what he did, asking a 14 year old for sex is not correct, but...

she was happy with the 500 baht arrangement and went willingly to his abode, she only decided to became a victim of rape when he paid 40 baht for her time !!

500 baht was enough for her to sell her time as a consenting worker !!

What a piece of scum? Thinks she is upset because he short changed her on his original offer. You raped a child dude. Maybe a goodly few years in the slammer will help him understand that this was a t

  • I find it hard to believe that a member of one of Thailand's most respected professions could possibly be involved in anything like this. Everyone knows that jet-ski operators are beyond reproach.

  • I wonder what the outcome of this incident would have been had he given her 500 baht.

If he offers to marry the girl, will they let him go free and call it all a wash???  :ninja:

quite possibly as long as adequate negotiation fees are paid to rtp and family.

So why did she go into the tent with him again? To play chess?

how did you know. chess is the leading pastime of jetski workers and preeminent bar girls.

Most likely it wouldn't have made the news.

Probably not, his story is plausible, but it does not excuse him for having sex with a minor under 15 or basically robing her of 460 Baht.

460 baht, a couple of wai’s and case closed....

This sounds to me to be a closer to under age sex than a rape...

Under 15 years old there is no consent,it is rape.

Just another lowlife scumbag

But why a 14 year old girl walking around beach night time she should be home sleeping

I really don't hope she agreed to have sex with him for 500 b

If he was 18 and she was 14, the story can be very different, then portrayed. The age difference is nothing, don't kid yourself.

You can even find these girls working in bars (but then probably more than 500)

Most likely the story was like:

The girl offered her services, the guy came to talk with her and they came to an agreement. After the deed was done he refused to pay the 500THB as agreed beforehand, so the girl went to the police and said he raped her. If he had just paid her the 500THB there wouldn't have been any problem.

At that age a 14 yo tends to make risky decisions that is why it is a rape the 18yo made a grave mistake and should suffer for it
