No Income Letter disqualifies satisfying the 65,000 a month option

Featured Replies

After a discussion yesterday it is clear there is no option to use a monthly option. The only way to satisfy immigration is to make the deposit and park it for 3 months.

Keep in mind things may change but right now get a Thai bank account under your name and begin the process of depositing monies!

I for one hope that there will be an option to satisfy a monthly option.

3 months, or 2 months? I see 2 months referenced on the Thai Immigration site.

I was told 2 months if it is your first time to use the deposit method

Discussion with who of competence? Your barstool friends?

Been reading almost all threads about this and the Visa experts on Thaivisa - like Ubonjoe - all say that nothing is clear and in writing at present.

Sorry that I trust them more than you.

2 month for the initial application, 3 month for subsequent extensions.
Switching from income to deposit does not make your application initial, you are still extending it, therefore 3 months.

Isn't that what bikerlou said?

No, it is not. His first paragraph with sentences like "it is clear ..." and "The only way ..." are of absolute truth and read like already being a law written in stone.

That he later writes that things can change in the future... well, that is not the same as saying I.e. "at present, the only option seems to be..."

Another new thread for bickering, arguing, insulting, and attacking others. Keep it going. Keep shopping for an agent who would take care of everything and you can invest your money in S&P 500. Hopefully with the proceed, you can make a few visits to French Riviera.

One office or officer will say one thing and the one one will say something else. Until the Immigration Bureau issues a directive or order nothing stated by them is relevant.

No need for another topic discussing what has been discussed dozens of times in other ongoing topics.
