Geck0
I will be travelling to Thailand next week. I have a SETV for 60 days. I intend to extend my stay for another 30 days. I have booked a return flight 90 days from my arrival. Shall I put 90 or 60 days of lenght of stay on TM6? If I have to put 60 days, do I have to book a return flight to some of the neighboring countries 60 days after arrival? Thank you for advise. ubonjoe
You can put 60 days. It would not mean you would need a ticket out within those 60 days. A return or onward flight is not required if you have a valid visa for entry.
elviajero
It’s not really important as they aren’t going to hold you to whatever you put, but don't put more than 60 days because that is the maximum stay the IO can give you on entry. VBF
The above responses are very helpful - as Ubonjoe and elviajero usually are. My take on it is that I always put 60 days because that's what the SETV allows without an extension so the IO will glance at it and (hopefully) just see it as routine and stamp you in without asking any questions - you make his/her life easy and hopefully they'll make yours easy. But do pay attention to the "Admitted Until" date, that the IO enters in your PP because the 60 days will include date of entry and busy IOs have been known to make mistakes (or so I hear!) so check before you leave the desk!
