One place where everyone wears a helmet

While I can't understand the thinking here I know there's just no point wasting ones life trying to change Thailand.  If they want head injuries that will most likely kill them then let them get on with it.

Only the law can make sweeping changes but that isn't going to happen as it stands.  200 baht fines only reinforce this rubbish.

I guess he hasn't, some people just hope we accept their BS.

I am all for traffic safety, but have a different opinion on this.

I think wearing a helmet should be a personal choice.

You can drink yourself to death, smoke yourself to death, both what people would say is a personal choice.  As so should be wearing a helmet.

Additionally, the "its the cops fault" is such small box immature rhetoric as that has very little to do with the issues here.

If I understand this correctly, a University is apparently an institution where so called intelligent people go for higher education? In which case, they can’t be that flippin bright if it has to take a threat from the Uni to get them to wear a helmet. Mind you academia and common sense never went hand in hand.

Very good. Next Step, regulate the sale of helmets in Thailand as most some of the crap sold,  is plainly no stronger then a raw egg.
