Scam victim "Nat" has lots of pretty new female friends after being ripped off by ugly woman

Sanook reported that a man who was ripped off by a scammer online now has a thousand new female friends on Facebook wanting to get to know him.

Sorachat - given the nickname "Nat Oan Wai" by netizens - was conned out of 100,000 baht by a woman whose profile picture suggested she was the answer to his dreams.

But rather than being a pretty bombshell he had been chatting with a woman who looked more like a grenade - and a fat ugly one at that.

The fraudster's mugshot was shown by Sanook who said that many victims had parted with 100,000 baht believing the career criminal named in countless warrants.

Sorachat or "Nat" went on his Facebook page to say:

"Thanks for the support. Thanks for sharing my story. I'm happy".

He may be happy with the fact that 1,000 pretties are now queuing up to be his friend on Facebook.

Sanook didn't entertain the idea that one or two of his new online admirers might be more of the same, namely scammers.

But the thing is, they also want a 100K.  And how does he (or Sanook) know if they are 'pretty'?

Sanook did not say that they were "pretty", it suggested that they were "pretties", big difference.   "Pretty" is an adjective, "pretties" in Thailand is a noun.

Don't be surprised if the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation wants to have him as their brand ambassador.

so these 1000 pretties are attracted to him by his dashing good lucks? no wait....

his money sense and financial guile? no wait....

his social prowess and charm? no wait....

his propensity for handing out cash.....bingo.....

This coming from a man who once replied to a member on TV with:

On 9/18/2018 at 10:43 AM, edwinchester said:

Since when has a teenager been 24 years old or were they writing about his mental development of 13?

"Since when does it matter?  Thai's journalists use the term "teenager" to refer to young people, is it that big a deal?"

Yes, I'd say referring to someone who is 24 years old as a teenager is a big deal. What isn't a big deal is weather or not someone used pretty as an adjective or a noun. It still means the person is supposedly 'pretty'.

If he was conned out of 100,000 baht by a ugly woman the pretties are thinking they could do better.

Great turn of phrase, though isn't that a bloke in the top right?

1.000 more lining up to empty what's left in the bank !!!

I am almost surprised that it's still allowed to write something like that.

I thought by now it must be something like: non mainstream plus size model ????

It was a bloke until the grenade went off... ????

People seem really rich in Thailand to just part with 100K in the favour on some unknown pussy !????!.... I will now stop ranting for the 800k they ask in the bank for retirement visas !!

The word "pretties" is a noun in any language -- no just Thai. And the word refers to "pretty" women -- not ugly ones. Of course, who's considered pretty or ugly can vary according to the observer.

by all the pictures they smudged out??..............

Yep, if your giving away lots of Bhat the pretties will line up at your door, especially if your too dumb to learn after you have been ripped off the first time.
