30 day extension fee (Q).

Recommended Posts

Hi

Just received my 30 day extension today.

Just have a quick (Q) based on what I notice today.

After my number was called the IO took my application, (didn't read it) turned it over, requested Photo and 1900 baht.

While waiting, she handed it over to the younger IO who entered some info in her computer.

It just appeared to me she did not look at my passport. I assume my profile info is in her computer.

If I or another applicant had taken more 30 day visa extensions than allowed by IO, is the 1900 baht refundable?

There is no set limit of the number of tourism extensions.

The 1,900 baht is not refundable. They will usually not accept an application, or take the money, if it’s likely to be turned down.

If an extension application is accepted and denied they will stamp your passport giving you 7 days to leave the country.

Please clarify what 30 day extension.  Was it the additional 30 days afterthe initial 60 days from a SETV?  Or was it a 30 day extension after the initial 30 days from a visa exempt on arrival?

visa-exempt.
