Get to Nonthaburi Immigration cheaply.

114 and 63 busses both head West across Rama 5 Bridge.  The last stop before they turn back is the newish Tesco Lotus...from there it is about 2 km...problem is no pedestrian access on the widest canal..and bad place for a bike.  There are frequent songtaews that are orange and small for 10 THB.  You can get off at the pedestrian overpass right before Suzuki, like I did, and walk against traffic on the frontage road and there is a sidewalk some of the way...easy 10 minutes.  However, I think if you wait for the second pedestrian overpass, past Suzuki and the turn for Immigration..it will be a touch closer.  Now if I had stayed on Orange it eventually heads East and goes right by the Imm turn, but don't know where.  I caught it coming out and got off near Makro, but I don't think it crosses the bridge.  The 114 or 63 would take you across to Nonthaburi Pier etc., but there is a bus lot there before the bridge that might be the end.  114 can be had, going, at The Mall, and I think both get real close to Ministry of Health MRT...but they go to the Pier, before turning onto Pibulsongkram to Major Cineplex and back across the Bridge.  You can also catch the Ferry on the west side of the Bridge.

If you have specific questions, just ask, and I will make clarifications as I learn and verify.  There are a few nuances...but I did the whole roundtrip for 26.5 THB yesterday, from the Pier area.
