Botox Injection

Featured Replies

Greetings,

Could you please recommend a competent board certified Dermatologist for Botox Injection to treat severe wrinkles around the eyes and forehead?

Preferably near Sukhumvit or Ratchada.

Thanks.

Actually my facorite person for Botox is nto a dermatologist but a British GP and she knows what she is doing. Dr. Donnba Robinson at MedConsult Asia. She also offerts the bets prices for it in town.

One does not need dermatology training to do this. It needs basic medical knowledge and  specific training and experience in the use of Botox for cosmetic purposes .Many board certified derms have no particular training in Botox. Others have but are quite mediocre at it, I have encountered dermaologists here who use a "cookbook" approach injecting everyone in the same spot the same number of times without regard for the individual's wrinkles.

Both doctors and nurses can be trained in giving Botox though in Thailand I have only seen doctors doing it. In the US, specially trained  nurses often do.

The other key thing is that for best results the provider needs to take their time and really study the face to identify to the best spots to inject.  You won't get optimum results if it is done in a rush. no matter who is doing it.

Once again thank you very much for your insightful information and advice!

Based on your recommendation, I'll make an appointment with Dr. Robinson!
