Getting a non-B for Teaching in HK

Featured Replies

Am I understanding this procedure correctly?

I'll be changing teaching jobs soon.

The new job is at a university.

I plan to go back to my country over Xmas/NYE, and then return to Thailand to finish my last week of work at the old job.  (First week of Jan)

Then I will pick up my documents for the new job, cancel my WP (I'm on an extention based on a WP).

I will leave Thailand and go to Hong Kong (I plan on a holiday here anyway).

I will apply for the Non-B with the following documents prepared:

3.1 Letter of acceptance from employing institute or school in Thailand.
3.2 Letter of approval from government agencies such as the Office of the Private Education Commission, the Office of the Basic Education Commission.
3.3 Evidence of educational qualification such as diplomas or teaching certificates.
3.4 School license or business registration, list of shareholders and school profile.
    3.5 Applicant’s resume.
3.6 Police certificate verifying that applicant has no criminal record or letter issued by authorised agencies in the applicant’s country.  (I will get this when I go home for Xmas)

Wait the required time, eat some dim sum.

Then pick up and return to Thailand.

Am I missing something?
