Exploring Thailand
I'm about to apply for my first retirement extension. There is a field on the TM7 "I wish to apply for an extension of temporary stay in the Kingdom for another period of ___ days.". Presumably, I write "365" and for "Reason for Extension", I write "Retirement". Is that correct?
Popular Post elviajero
You could write 365 days. I always write 1 year which is the length of the extension. The reason is "Retirement". 3
Popular Post Skeptic7
I wrote 365 since the pre-populated portion has "days", but they are not sticklers on such minor issues. Of course the form(s) could be far better worded. 3

Trollmann
I suppose it can be extended every year after that, so no need to apply for a new visa if the extentions are done before the last extention runs out. Does someone know how the multi re-entry permit works? If getting a multi re-entry permit before or after the first 365 days extention, will it still be valid within the following extentions as well? A re-entry permit is only valid for the length of the permit to stay it is issued for. You have to get a new one every year when you apply for a new extension.
Pattaya46
An example I grabbed from google A bad example. "American" is not a Nationality. Canadians, Mexicans, etc... are Americans. Should be US-Americans, or United States of America as their passport says.
