So how do you know your belief in a creator comes from truth, and not from the same psychological influences you describe? Saying it makes more sense to you is honest, but it is still faith. Even I can admit there may be a higher power or a creator. But why do you, and everyone else who believes in a god, heaven, and hell, need to create stories without proof? Why do we need something to believe in? Ask yourself, why do you need to believe? Not only that there is a creator, but in that specific God, and those specific promises.
