Trump wanted to blame someone--anyone but himself, as usual--for the awful, botched repairs on the pool that he had--as usual--crowed about personally overseeing. The charges were all false, knowingly false, fabricated out of thin air to please Trump by that hack Pirro. There should be prosecution, though, for knowingly bringing false charges. I almost felt sorry, reading the court report, for the hapless DOJ stooge trying to answer the judge's pointed, telling questions. Almost. It would be laughable except an innocent Olympian's life has been put on hold for months, with the threat of going to jail hanging over his head, just to appease a very embarrassed, and rightly so, Trump. As for 'vandalizing public property', Trump is the person in most need of being jailed for doing just that--starting with the illegal demolishing of the East Wing of the White House.
