I've got a question regarding a border run I might do in January.

I'm a citizen of Ukraine, so I'm not allowed to do visa on arrival to Myanmar. I can get visa on arrival to Thailand though. 

My question is - will I be allowed to do a classical border run to Myanmar border, spend few hours in the village and go back in one day? Anyway I won't enter the country per se. But I'm worried if Burmese immigration will let me do it.

As far as I know there is no restriction on getting a border pass for Myanmar based upon nationality. The fee is 500 baht or $10 US.
